Wilsons Embroidery: Logo Design

Wilsons Embroidery provides custom embroidery services to a wide range
of corporate, commercial and retail accounts from their offices and production facilities located in McNeill, Mississippi.

Wilsons staff wished to have a corporate logo designed that was versatile
enough to be used on a wide range of products including: Stationary, Coffee Mugs, Jackets, Shipping Cartons and more! So armed with background
information provided by the client, our designer's set to work.

As the finished goods Wilsons produces are the product of highly-specialized, computer-driven sewing machines, our team felt that the incorporation of a needle and thread would act as an appropriate and
accurate visual focal point for the basis of this project.

Small squares were added to the left of the 'W' in Wilsons to represent
pixels, given that the embroidery designs they produce are done through
the aid of computers. The image of the thread was deliberately placed as
to draw the reader's eye across the design in a natural way from left to right.
