Flexiciser International: Logo Design

Flexiciser International, based in Irvine, Calif. designs, manufactures
and sells specialized fitness equipment for use by both paraplegic,
quadriplegic and other end-users who have suffered mobility loss.

Many of the firm's existing customers suffer from Multiple Sclerosis,
Parkinson's, SCI, Muscular Dystrophy, Cerebral Palsy or Head Injuries.

As such, the Flexiciser group wished to have a logo designed that was
capable of communicating: Strength, Movement and Physical Fitness
while also conveying Vitality and Hope.

'Movement' was the central idea the team elected to focus on with
respect to this project as it was thought that fitness is a by-product of
movement, and well-being a by product of fitness.

The iconic figure with arms and legs outstretched is a very powerful
component of this logo's design as it visually satisfies the client's wish
to communicate Strength, Movement and Physical Fitness. The stylized
'sun' used in an arc not only frames the iconic figure but visually
communicates the idea of a brighter future ahead. When combined,
these design elements provide the client with a unique, powerful
and effective corporate logo.
