Fidelis Investment Group Inc. : Logo Design

Fidelis (Latin for 'faithful') Investment Group Inc. is an investment firm
dedicated to managing, growing and protecting the fiscal assets of their
client base (both Institutional & Retail).

The Fidelis team contacted our designers to produce a logo capable of
communicating a number of key concepts, Strength, Stability, Patience,
Professionalism and Style.

Our design team felt that by focusing on the fundamental concepts of
both Strength and Stability, the resulting logo would communicate the
balance of the root messages very effectively.

A column, fashioned in the style of the highly-recognizable and popular
ancient Greek 'Doric Columns' was used as the focal point of this logo
design. The team felt that the column accurately addressed the Strength,
Stability and Style elements of this project.

A horizontal gradient was introduced below the column shaft as a means
of communicating and providing viewers with a heightened sense of
'foundation'.

To maintain and convey both Style and Professionalism, the typefaces
considered leaned toward those that offered a balance between 'function'
and 'form'.
