Amphibia Swimming & Triathlon Wear, Inc.: Logo Design

Amphibia Swimming & Triathlon Wear, Inc. based in Princeton, NJ is a retailer specializing in servicing the clothing and equipment needs of Runners, Swimmers and Cyclists (Triathletes).

Wanting to capitalize on the firm's unique corporate name, our design
team set to work by first researching the root word 'Amphibian'.
Traditionally, amphibians are at home both on land and in the water
(not unlike triathletes), so it should come as no surprise as to where
this is going now.

As the Frog is the most identifiable member of the North American
species of amphibians it was decided that the humble frog would play
a pivotal role in the development of this project.

The stance chosen for the frog (see above) is reminiscent of that of a runner in starting blocks, while the leaf he sits upon also resembles
a road (used for the running and cycling legs of a Triathlon).
