Ghana Steel Fund: Not-for Profit Corporation

After meeting with representatives from the client firm, our team set to work to design a business card that was not only was capable of communicating standard ‘contact’ information but one that also reflected the strong cultural heritage of Ghana.

The color scheme we selected for use on this project was adopted from those used on the Ghanaian Flag and the ancient Adinkra symbol we elected to use (see left side of the card) is known as an ‘Akoben’ (a horn used to sound a battle cry). The Akoben symbol is commonly associated
as a symbol of vigilance and wariness in popular African culture.

Great marketing really does defy geographic boundaries.
