Embassy West Hotel, Conference Centre: Display Ad

In the Spring of 2003, the management team at the Embassy West Hotel, Conference Centre asked Creative Genius Communications Inc. to assist in the development of a Newspaper Ad engineered to promote both Ottawa and the Hotel as the 'ideal' family summer destination.

The Creative Genius team set to work and developed several unique themes and concepts in keeping with the audience's demographic composite and a set of defined communication goals.

Each of the concepts were presented and a decision was then made to refine one of the concepts further. Upon final acceptance, a six-week media buy was implemented across a number of Ontario based Community Newspapers.

In a summer that will be remembered by many in the hospitality industry
as the summer that SARS (Severe Acute RespiratorySyndrome) struck,
the Embassy West Hotel, Conference Centre did not sustain the heavy financial losses others in the industry were burdened with.
